Features of the RPM Gamer .300:
1. Real Balls, Real Spin – RPM technology locates the seams, moves the ball to line up the seams, and then spins ball to ensure realistic rotation. The fastball comes out as a two seamer, the curveball is tight with downer movement, and the changeup spins loosely at slower speeds.
2. Self Adjusting Technology – The Gamer is built on innovative technology (no spinning wheels) that allows it to make adjustments on its own. What that means is that once the machine is in place, the Gamer will make the necessary adjustments so that a fastball, curveball, and then loose spinning changeup, will be a strike, without the operator ever needing to touch the machine.
3. Over Speed Training – The Gamer .300 includes an overspeed option that allows the hitter to train with soft balls (to prevent injury) at speeds up to 130mph. If you can hit a fastball at 130mph, the 90mph fastball looks like its moving in slow motion.
4. Programming and Pitch Selection Options – The Gamer allows the hitter or coach to:
a. pre program the pitch selection,
b. chose from a random mix,
c. or compete head to head with his team-mate.
You can limit the variables to work on your mechanics, create your own bottom of the ninth situation, or compete for bragging rights in a World Series between you and your training partner.
5. Easy Setup and Take Down – The Gamer .300 is built on a durable stand with smooth riding wheels which make it easy to manoeuvre the machine into place. Adjust the alignment and the height, fill up the ball feeder, and go to work.
6. State of the Art Communication – The RPM Gamer is a class one Compliant bluetooth device, which means it can be driven by the latest technology allowing the operator the freedom to store retrieve and share data. The RPM Gamer is compatible with the following bluetooth enabled devices from PalmOne: Zire, Tungsten, and Treo.
